One of the most spectacular Oeno-gastronomic Wine Occasions of the year is due to take place at the 5-star Four Seasons Hotel, in Limassol, on Wednesday, 30th September at 7.30 pm. This event is presented by the Wine and More Privilege Club under the patronage of leading French wine expert Christophe Chaillou.

10 FINE FRENCH WINES, AN APERITIF & 7-COURSE DINNER
The Wine and More Privilege Club is honoured to present the prestigious wines of the revered French winemaker, Gerard Bertrand, as part of a seven-course dinner, prepared by a team of top chefs at the Four Seasons Hotel. During this fine dinner, ten fine French wines will be served plus an aperitif.
2 AWARD-WINNING WINES VOTED ‘BEST IN THE WORLD’
Included in the wine selection is the opportunity to taste two award-winning wines that have been voted the best in the world. This includes Clos du Temple 2019 AOP Languedoc Cabrières which won the title of Best Rosé in the World in the 2020 Global Rosé at the Masters of Drinks Business Awards. Then, to accompany the main course, Château l’Hospitalet Grand Vin Red 2017 AOP La Clape will be served. This fine wine was awarded the Best Red Wine in the World at the 2019 International Wine Challenge.
‘VITICULTURE, IN HARMONY WITH NATURE …’
Gerard Bertrand is a third-generation winemaker who has been sharing his passion for wine for over 30 years. Gerard is an Ambassador for the great wines from the Languedoc region in France. He is a pioneer of biodynamic wines and believes that “viticulture, in harmony with nature, is the best way to bring terroir wines to the highest level of excellence”. He has 16 estates, which cover over 850 hectares offering, “a unique diversity of grape varieties and terroirs”.
‘AN EXCELLENT CHOICE FOR THE SERIOUS WINE LOVER’
The menu has been carefully paired with Gerard’s wines. It includes a fine selection of gastronomic dishes, including, Scallop Carpaccio, Chilean Sea Bass, Iberico Pork and many extras which will complete an incredibly memorable evening. Speaking about the wines from the Languedoc region, Christophe himself says “These wines from the Languedoc are as good as wines from Bordeaux. They are an excellent choice for the serious wine lover”.

Wine and More Privilege Club – This exclusive club enjoys enormous support from its members, who are wine enthusiasts and prominent members of the business community here in Cyprus. They organise special dinners every month which allows their members to taste world-class wines and enjoy some of the most refined menus available. The monthly event always includes a top winemaker at the finest of culinary venues through their association with the Four Seasons Hotel.
HOW MUCH IS IT TO ATTEND?
This dinner is open to both members and non-members. The price for non-members is 150 euros and for members 120 euros for a truly extraordinary occasion. A very special evening for all lovers of fine wines and fine food.
