LARNACA BIENNALE ’21 PRESENTS: LIMITLESS LIMITS
13th October – 26th November 2021
Larnaca Biennale 2021 – In 2018, the first edition of the Larnaca Biennale took place in Cyprus. With over 18,000 visitors at the main exhibition and over 4,000 spectators attending the parallel events, the Larnaca Biennale is already the biggest and most popular international arts event in Cyprus.

Now, in 2021, we are pleased to inform you of the upcoming second edition of the Larnaca Biennale, which will open on the 13th of October! Artists and artworks from Cyprus and abroad have already begun arriving in Larnaca for this international exhibition titled ‘Limitless Limits’, conceived by Curator Vassilis Vassiliades. The International Jury committee members are curator and art critic Jean Blanchaert from Milan, Italy, Florence Biennale chief curator and art scholar Dr Melanie Zefferino, President of Cyprus Chamber of Fine Arts, Katina Kosta, and Sculptor Kikis Patsalos.
In addition to the main exhibition at the Larnaca Municipal Gallery, Pierides Museum and the MultiSpace of Creativity and Culture, the Biennial is also set to host 15 artistic and cultural events, including theatrical events, film screenings, performances, lectures, and workshops, as well as organised tours arranged for colleges, universities and visitors.

As the organisers explained, “The main objective of the Larnaca Biennale organisers is to establish a truly global event with high-quality standards that puts Larnaca and Cyprus on the world map of the most important international art events.”
